What we do and the services we offer

Moonriver Ltd provides services for Bio-diversity schemes to Housebuilders and Developers to offset the environmental impact of building projects. The aim does not involve the purchase of land, but rather entering legal agreements with farmers and landowners to change their practices and use of agricultural land to improve their impact on the environment. The changes are measured in a Metric calculation given by DEFRA and credits are then sold to individual projects.

Moonriver separately provides a service to customers seeking an individual solution to housing through a self-build and custom-build scheme where they are able to participate in the creation and evolution of a new community of like-minded individuals and also design the details of their new home.



About Andy

Andy Morris has been working within the housebuilding sector for over 30 years and has more recently specialised in biodiversity projects to assist in delivering development proposals. The spread of projects has included mitigation sites for nitrate leaching into the Solent, bio-diversity net gain solutions and the delivery of a 25-hectare SANG at Guildford. Andy qualified at the University of Wales in Cardiff in Town Planning Studies and is a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. The inception of Moonriver brings together the passion for creative environmental projects, and possibilities to enhance individual expression of design for new housing. We aim to increase the availability of sites to improve ecological benefits and access for members of the public within all our projects.
